Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing

Here’s a chance for the parents or the boys to prove who knows the most about football and a chance for us to raise a bit of money for the team.

Here are the rules:

Pay your entry fee of £5 at week 1 (and every time there is a rollover).Half of the fee goes to support the team and the rest goes into the pot to be won.

Each week, simply pick a team playing a match in the Premier League that week – if your team wins, you go through; lose or draw and you’re out.

You can only pick a team to win once in a competition (unless all teams have been picked), so be tactical about who you pick and when.

All selections must be sent to the administrator 15 minutes before kick-off of the first match of the round

Rounds of fixtures may take place on weekends or mid-week.

If your team’s game is postponed you are automatically put through to the next round.

If you forget to pick a team, you’ll automatically get the first team alphabetically that you’ve yet to pick.

Last Man Standing continues until only one person remains and wins the pot.

If all remaining players lose their match in a round together, we get a rollover and start all over again.

If we reach the end of the season with no clear winner, the prize fund is shared with all remaining entrants.

Here’s an example

John picks Chelsea to beat Spurs. If Chelsea win he goes through, but he won’t be able to pick Chelsea again.

Peter picks Man Utd to beat Arsenal, but it’s a draw so Peter is out.

The competition continues until everyone goes out and the pot is won by the last remaining entrant
